SounDrama

SounDrama is a creative team («studio») of musicians, actors, artists, sound designers and choreographers.

SounDrama studio:

- creates music for plays, films, TV series and programs;
- participates in different kinds of plays and performances;
- experiments; - is opened for the cooperation.

SounDrama was found in the end of 2005 by the efforts of «Pan-Quartet» band, the art director of the studio Vladimir Pankov and singer and actress Olga Berger.

The name of the studio, and for now – a new genre – appeared during the work on the play «Krasnoy Nitkoy» (By the Red Thread = Russian idiomatic equivalent for «to run all (through)», «to stand out»): people wanted to give a definition for the genre, but the performance couldn’t be described neither as musical nor as a dramatic play. Thus, the name SounDrama was born.

«The most important thing about SounDrama is that it is a joint art process, there are no canons, every person introduces his own «share», fantasizes, it’s all abut improvisation, which grows into art productions. SounDrama opens it’s doors for actors, artists, musicians, dancers, sound designers, - it has just started to develop», - says Vladimir Pankov, the leader of SounDrama studio.
